I have been baiting for three weeks bears hitting my bait every time.season started sept 1 bait has not been hit in six days i have hunted same spot for three years and bears never stop hitting bait until this year.do think i should move to new spot.

hi kevin can u help me out its my first time i have about 3 achers that back down into the woods do u think its a good idea to bait about an acher off your property in an open area that backs up into the woods.and how long do u think itll take till the bears realize wearyour baits at.im using grease and rotted fish and donuts all in that one area.im from muskoka ontario.

The Spring black bear hunt is not far off now.

I thought I would add a little to your post.

I have a lot of years experience as both a black bear hunter and outfitter. What I have observed over the years baiting black bear sites myself is that the bears remember the sites and most return year after year.

Looking forward to the bear hunt 2009
